The Galaxy Drive In won't open this season ... but you can buy it

Nostalgia can be yours for just $900,000.

The Galaxy Drive In in St. Louis Park is for sale, according to this real estate ad.

Owner Steve Schussler confirmed to the Star Tribune that the 1,100-square-foot theme restaurant is closed and on the market.

He said that although the Galaxy has drawn a crowd over the years, it hasn't lived up to his expectations. (The ad says gross sales in last five years have been between $600,000-$900,000.)

"There has got to be somebody out there who can do it better than I can," he told the Star Tribune. "It should continue."

The Galaxy isn't Schussler's only restaurant – he's the man behind the Rainforest Cafe.

His company, Schussler Creative, Inc., is based in Golden Valley and boasts several themed restaurants nationwide.

They own several Disney concepts in Orlando, including the T-REX Cafe and Yak and Yeti.

In June, Schussler's Minnesota-themed restaurant opens China – it is called "The Boathouse" and is inspired by Lake Minnetonka, the Star Tribune said.
