The woman caught on video telling Muslims 'We're going to kill all of you' has been fired

Her former employer said they don't endorse what she said.

The woman who was captured on video telling three Somali women "We’re going to kill all of you. We’re going to kill every one of you f------ Muslims" has been fired.

Amber Hensley of Mapleton, North Dakota, apologized for what she said in the Fargo Walmart parking lot, adding she wishes she could take it back. She also claimed the three women behind the camera had called her a "fat b----" and said "f--- Jesus" beforehand, and were blocking access to her car.

But the outcry over the video was apparently too much for her employer.

Horab & Wentz Certified Public Accountants, based in Fargo, told KVRR in a statement they don't agree with or endorse what Hensley said in the video.

She was let go effective immediately, the statement adds.

Whether Hensley ends up facing possible criminal charges isn't known yet. Fargo Deputy Chief Joe Anderson told GoMN Wednesday a police report was filed, but they need to finish the investigative process. That will probably take 5-10 days.

Once they're done, if there's enough evidence of a possible crime, the case will get sent to the North Dakota State's Attorney to determine if charges should be filed.

Muslims make up about 1 percent of the U.S. population, with an estimated 3.3 million people, Pew Research has found.

Americans generally feel more warmly toward Muslims than just a few years ago – but Americans' perception of them as a religious group is still worse than other major religions, and even atheists, Pew Research has found.

FBI figures have shown anti-Islamic hate crimes have tracked upward in recent years.
