Single match tickets are now on sale for Minnesota United's first season in Major League Soccer.

Fans can buy tickets for individual home games at TCF Bank Stadium, which range in price from $20 to $184. Take a look at the options here.

Although the Loons are now in the top league in the U.S., soccer remains a niche sport in Minnesota. That said, interest is growing, with United having sold more than 15,000 season tickets for the inaugural MLS season as of December.

If you're unsure about giving soccer a go, GoMN's biggest soccer/football expert Adam Uren has picked out some of the best home games to consider.

Atlanta United, March 12

Why you should go: The reason is obvious. It's Minnesota United's first home game in the MLS and the atmosphere is sure to be hopping, particularly if you sit near some of the Dark Clouds fans.

What's more, Atlanta United is the other new entry into the MLS this season, so the game will be a good judge of which team recruited better over the winter.

LA Galaxy, May 21

Why you should go: The Galaxy are basically the New England Patriots of the MLS, with five championship wins since 2002. So it would be particularly satisfying to get a victory over them at TCF Bank.

They also have some top players, including former Barcelona forward Giovani dos Santos, who at 27 years old is at the peak of his powers; as well as the English former Arsenal and Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole.

New York Red Bulls, July 22

Why you should go: The Red Bulls topped the Eastern Conference last season and are expected to be contenders again this year.

Leading the line for them is Bradley Wright-Phillips, the English striker who was deadly in 2016. He finished as the top scorer in the MLS with 24 goals. Setting up many of them was Sacha Kljestan, the Californian midfield playmaker who laid on 20 assists last season.

Seattle Sounders, August 5

Why you should go: Last year's MLS champions, the Sounders have been one of the best teams in the league the past few years and are the home of Team USA legend Clint Dempsey.

If you're looking to attend an away game, it's worth considering the return fixture between Minnesota United and the Sounders in Seattle on Aug. 20. Seattle regularly packs in more than 40,000 spectators into Century Link Field, and has the highest average attendance in MLS.

F.C. Dallas, September 23

Why you should go: Dallas topped the Western Conference last season (Minnesota is in the West) so the Texans will surely provide a stern test for the Loons.

They had the best record in the 2016 regular season, but entered the playoffs without their best player, Argentinian midfielder Mauro Diaz, who got injured in the penultimate match of the season. They ultimately lost to the Sounders in the conference semi-finals.
