Third bridal bandit suspect charged in wedding gift lift

The third and final suspect in the theft of cash wedding gifts last summer was charged in Anoka County District Court on Monday.

The Pioneer Press reports that one court of felony-level theft was filed against Rachel Elizabeth Reeves, 27. She is currently being held in the Hubbard County Jail on another offense.

Grainy surveillance video of two men and one woman was released after the July wedding of Cassandra and Jeremy Shannon in Ham Lake. The well-dressed thieves were spotted making their way toward the newlyweds' card box full of cash at their reception at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club. According to the criminal complaint, the box contained about $7,400 in cash, checks and gift cards.

Aaron Ray Martin, 40, and Derrick Duane Manson, 41, also charged in connection with the incident, remain in the Anoka County Jail. Manson is also suspected of stealing a card box from a Brooklyn Park wedding.

On the night of the wedding, three gift cards were used at at the Target in nearby Andover. More video surveillance, this time at the store, showed three people matching the description of Martin, Manson and Reeve's entering and leaving the store.
