A cat somehow slipped under the hood of a car and traveled nearly 20 miles in there.

The City of Eagan posted the picture of this adorable gray and white cat on Facebook. She apparently took a trip from Minneapolis to Eagan under the hood of a car.

Officials tell Fox 9 that the woman driving the vehicle heard some weird noises coming from the car so she opened the hood. The cat was just laying there, unconscious.

A little bit of water helped wake the cat back up, and an animal control officer picked up the kitty and brought it to a nearby vet, the station says.

The cat only suffered a minor injury.

According to the the Facebook post, the cat is a total sweetheart. The city is looking for her owner, but if no one steps up, the kitty may be up for adoption.
