This is the most Instagrammed restaurant in Minneapolis

Surprise! It's a coffee shop.

Imagine that you're at a restaurant. The food finally comes to the table – what's the first thing you do before digging in?

For a lot of people, it's the obligatory food photo. And there sure are some great dishes to take pictures of in Minneapolis, from the hi-tops at Hi-Lo Diner, to the Jucy Lucy at Matt's Bar.

But according to USA Today, the most popular place in the city to check in, photograph a culinary masterpiece, and share it on Instagram is actually ... a coffee shop. They asked Instagram to go through billions of geotags to find the most posted restaurant in each state’s biggest city.

As it turns out, Black: Coffee and Waffle Bar is Minneapolis' most geotagged restaurant on Instagram, USA Today says.

Here's a sample of what people are 'gramming there:

Ever since Black: Coffee and Waffle Bar opened two years ago in the southeast Como neighborhood, diners haven't been able to resist sharing those photogenic waffles and lattes.

The shop now has a brand new, second location located on Marshall Ave. and Cretin Ave. in the Merriam Park neighborhood of St. Paul. More information can be found on their website.
