We love this video, and the internet loves this video.

Students at a California high school all chipped in to buy a teacher a pair of red Vans – shoes that he'd seen a student wear at the beginning of the year and said he liked.

The class gave the psych teacher Taylor Kerby (aka tkerbz) the gift this week, and one posted video of him opening the gift and seeing they were the shoes he'd liked. It became a giant hit on Twitter, thanks to Kerby's pure joy and authentic reaction.

Buzzfeed spoke with the students, and has more about how the gesture came together.

Even Vans saw it and replied, then shared it later.
