Eagan native Nicholas David is reuniting this weekend with some of his fellow competitors from Season 3 of NBC's "The Voice, and bringing some Minnesota music artists along for the ride.

David, who finished third in last season's reality singing competition, will be playing First Avenue Friday and Saturday night.

Among the other "Voice" stars playing the gigs are Terry McDermott, who finished second last season, and Trevin Hunte, who placed fourth. Other Season 3 competitors Melanie Martinez and Todd Kessler are also taking part.

Friday night's show is sold out, but tickets are still available for the second.

Minnesota artists Desdamona and Alex Rossi, will be playing both shows, while Heatbox plays Friday and Teague Alexy on Saturday.

David has made several local appearances since rising to prominence on "The Voice," including a stop at the Mall of America and at a Bobby Z benefit gig earlier this year at First Avenue.

He also sounded the Gjallahorn at Mall of America field before the Vikings-Packers showdown Dec. 30.

See video below of David performing a song on "The Voice" first made famous by another native Minnesotan, Judy Garland.

Other major acts coming to Minnesota this week include legendary crooner Englebert Humperdinck, who plays Saturday night at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake.
