Fresh off their James Beard Award wins over the weekend, famed chefs and television personalities Andrew Zimmern and Anthony Bourdain are appearing together on stage at the State Theatre in Minneapolis Saturday to share stories about their work and travels.
At the show, "Guts and Glory: An Evening with Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern," the duo will also give their insights into the international food scene in an an open question and answer session with the audience.
Bourdain has hosted the Travel Channel's Emmy Award-winning series "No Reservations" and "The Layover," and is readying the new ABC cooking competition "The Taste" and a new docu-series for CNN.
"Bizarre Foods America" was also up for a James Beard Award for Best On-Location TV Program, but that went to Bourdain's "The Mind of a Chef."
Also on stage this week is comedy sensation Bo Burnham, who brings his act to the Pantages Theater Wednesday.
Also back in Minnesota is St. Paul native and hometown favorite Louie Anderson, who is doing stand-up shows at the Ramada-Mall of America Thursday and Friday.
