Here's an impressive start for the Wild: not only did they move to 5-2-1 with their 4-0 win over Buffalo on Thursday, but with Marco Scandella, Christian Folin and Nate Prosser assisting on goals, every skater on their active roster has a point this season.
That's pretty impressive considering it only took 8 games for the Wild to do that.
Defenseman Ryan Suter leads the Wild with 9 points (3 goals, 6 assists). He's also tied for the team lead in goals with Eric Staal and Charlie Coyle.
Zach Parise – who scored his 300th career goal last weekend – nearly lit the lamp on Thursday but it was waved off. He's been firing a ton of shots on net, too, leading the team with 26 shots on goal entering play Thursday.
It's been a team effort all season for the Wild, who have 16 different goal scorers. That's three more than any other team entering play on Wednesday Oct. 26.
Goaltender Devan Dubnyk has also posted back-to-back shutouts as well.
