Hillary Clinton's running mate will be making a stop in Minnesota Tuesday, where he's expected to meet with the winner of a meet-and-greet contest during a campaign event in Minnesota, according to Clinton's website.

The Star Tribune says the visit will be Tuesday afternoon, but no other details about the Virginia senator's visit to Minneapolis has been released. BringMeTheNews has reached out to Clinton's campaign for more details.

Kaine's visit comes as Clinton, 68, spends her second day off of the campaign trail as she recovers from pneumonia. Her campaign was forced to reveal she was sick after she stumbled while leaving a 9/11 event early on Sunday.

The New York Times says her decision to keep her illness a secret has backfired. Clinton's campaign, which has highlighted how she is more transparent than her Republican challenger Donald Trump, is now on the defensive about its transparency, all while trying to gain the trust of the nation's voters, the paper explains.

With that, Clinton is expected to release additional medical information" in the next few days, The Guardian reports.

Trump also says he'll release information on his health soon, according to reports.
