The Minnesota Timberwolves announced today that they have signed D-League power forward/center Greg Smith to a 10-day contract. Smith currently plays for the Raptors 905, a D-Leauge team based in Ontario. According to the Timberwolves, Smith has averaged 12.4 points on 51.0% shooting, and 8.3 rebounds per game during his time in Ontario.

Smith went undrafted in 2011 but was signed by the Huston Rockets, where he played a supporting big man role between assignments to the Rocket's D-Leauge affiliate, the Rio Grande Vipers, according to Basketball Reference, before eventually being waived in 2014.

He was acquired by the Dallas Mavericks in the summer of 2014 and played 42 games for them before becoming a free agent in the summer of 2015.
