Toro names O'Rourke to its Board of Directors

Bloomington-based mower maker Toro Co. is adding James O'Rourke to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. O’Rourke, 51, currently serves as executive vice president of operations and chief operating officer at The Mosaic Company, based in Plymouth.

ValueVision Media Inc. is promoting Carol Steinberg to chief operating officer, the Star Tribune reports. The Eden Prairie-based company operates the ShopNBC 24-hour TV shopping network. Last year, Steinberg was appointed to executive vice president of Internet, marketing and human resources.

Jostens moving production jobs to Tennessee

The Bloomington-based maker of yearbooks, class rings and similar products will start phasing out nearly 400 jobs in July. The director of communications for Jostens told the Topeka Capital-Journal, "the transition is expected to be substantially complete by January of 2013."
