New wing opens at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport
The Humphrey Terminal, also known as Terminal 2, has a new larger security checkpoint to help reduce the wait time for passengers traveling through the Twin Cities, the Pioneer Press reports. The Metropolitan Airports Commission, which runs the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, says it is designed to screen 150 additional travelers each hour. The $16 million expansion also features additional space for new restaurants that will open early next year.

iPads for traveler use coming to MSP airport

The tablets will be tethered at restaurant tables, gate seats and in other waiting areas. Visitors will be able to surf the Web, check their flight status, and charge their phones or laptops at tablet stands.
