A semitruck carrying turkeys overturned on the northbound lanes early Tuesday morning, snarling traffic on one of the Twin Cities' busiest freeways.
The truck rolled over around 4:30 a.m. and the Minnesota Department of Transportation says the entrance ramp from northbound Interstate 494 to eastbound Interstate 94 will be closed until after 10 a.m. so the area can be cleaned up.
The State Patrol is rerouting traffic and investigating what led to the crash, KARE 11 says.
The Star Tribune says commuters heading eastbound near the area should expect slow downs from Maple Grove Parkway to the Fish Lake Interchange.
No one was injured in the crash, MPR News reports. It's unknown if any turkeys were killed or injured in the accident.
