The Minnesota State Patrol says Robert Haire, 51, of Monticello was in a wheelchair traveling northbound on Highway 25 in the right turn lane.

Authorities say the pickup truck, headed in the same direction, crashed into him around 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of Kjellberg Court.

Maria Miller, 29, of Buffalo had been driving, according to the report.

The State Patrol says alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
