The summer heat wave sweeping through the Twin Cities and southern half of the state is resulting in more patients with heat-related conditions at the hospital. Regions Hospital emergency room physician Gary Mayeux tells KARE-TV that there's been a 15 to 20 percent increase in heat exhaustion cases in the last week.
