Right-hander Scott Diamond heads to the hill for Minnesota in the series finale.

Trevor Plouffe hit a two-run homer on Saturday to break up Francisco Liriano's no-hitter in the seventh, but Chicago held on to a 5-3 victory.

MLB.com also notes Joe Mauer is day-to-day because of back spasms. He missed his fifth straight game Saturday.

Right-hander Brian Duensing will step in for Francisco Liriano, who was traded to the Chicago White Sox. Ubaldo Jimenez will take the hill for the Indians. Twins Third baseman Danny Valencia is also back for the first time since being sent down to Triple-A Rochester in May.

White Sox topple Twins, 9-2

The Twins weren't able to avoid a sweep and lost to Chicago Sunday, 9-2. Dayan Viciedo and Adam Dunn homered off Scott Diamond, and the White Sox scored six runs in the sixth inning. Joe Mauer homered in his return after missing five games with back spasms but Minnesota wasn't able to avoid the loss.
