Two people were killed and another was wounded in a shooting in south Minneapolis Sunday evening, according to police.
All three victims had been shot and were found inside a vehicle at an apartment building in the 2200 block of East Franklin Avenue, the police said in a news release.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 8 p.m. and found the victims – all men – in the car, which was in a remote corner of the parking lot.
Two were pronounced dead at the scene, and the third was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the Star Tribune.
The police say there is no reason to believe there is any threat to the general public.
