This U of M student made her crush a PowerPoint on why he should date her

Now, that's one way to get a guy's attention.

Let's be honest, dating in 2017 is a totally different scene than it was 10 or even five years ago. Apps like Tinder and Bumble have made things more complicated and for a lot of people, more superficial.

Full disclosure: I've been married long enough to have avoided the era of social media dating, but I've heard from friends just how hard it can be to meet someone these days. How do you nab – and maintain – another's attention when they have access to dozens of other local singles at their fingertips?

A student at the University of Minnesota came up with a unique (and adorably nerdy) way to stand out and let her crush know she had eyes for him – she made a PowerPoint.

And lucky for us, she shared it in a series of tweets.

In six slides titled "Why You Should Date Me," Fenton starts off by marketing herself as a solution to a common problem for many young adult singles: Parental expectations.

"Sick of your family nagging you to get a serious girlfriend? Look no further," she writes.

Fenton lists some of the best parts of her personality, describing herself as a "tantalizing conversationalist" who is well dressed with an "edgy, yet tasteful sense of humor that will be sure to win the approval of your mother."

Other attributes highlighted in the presentation include her ever-changing hairstyles, "Dating me is like having three different girlfriends," and a very scientific analysis of her anatomy. Fenton also proves she's financially stable by providing a screenshot of her paycheck and text message from Mom.

It's clear she put a lot of thought and time into the project – which was probably a lot more fun than homework.

It's hard to imagine anyone would say no to at least one date with this charmer, but apparently Carter was not impressed.

But that's okay, because thousands of people liked and retweeted the presentation on Twitter, sending Fenton messages of encouragement and wishing her the best.

She even got some love from Microsoft Office, the makers of PowerPoint.
