Uber worker seriously hurt in Roseville hit-and-run

She was seen talking with the driver shortly before he hit her.

An Uber employee in the Twin Cities has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run.

The 22-year-old woman from St. Paul works at the Uber Greenlight Hub in Roseville, which provided help and support for local Uber drivers and riders.

According to Roseville police, she was having a conversation with a man in the hub's parking lot at 5:45 p.m. Monday, November 6. The man was behind the wheel of a car.

As the woman walked back towards the building at 2055 Rice Street, the driver accelerated towards her, intentionally running her over.

He then fled south on Rice Street in a small, gold, mid-2000s SUV or minivan. Police are now looking for him.

The victim was left with "significant injuries," according to police, and she's currently recovering at Regions Hospital.
