Valleyfair is returning to normal after the Shakopee amusement park lost power Tuesday afternoon, KARE 11 reports. Xcel Energy officials say it took crews about 90-minutes to restore power after an equipment failure.

Valleyfair is returning to normal after the Shakopee amusement park lost power Tuesday afternoon, KARE 11 reports. Xcel Energy officials say it took crews about 90-minutes to restore power after an equipment failure.

The outage stalled many rides, including the Wild Thing roller coaster and the Ferris wheel. A Valleyfair spokesman tells the Star Tribune no one was injured.
