Vehicle rolls down bluff; rescuers rappel, cut roof off vehicle
Emergency crews responded to the scene not far from the Ford plant, near Mississippi River Boulevard and Magoffin Avenue north of Hidden Falls Regional Park, about 3:45 a.m., after an vehicle went off the road and rolled down a 40-foot embankment, the Pioneer Press says. Rescuers used ropes to get themselves down and had to cut off part of the roof of the vehicle.
Police were investigating and it is not yet known if alcohol was a factor, WCCO reports.
