Ever since Mike Quast, of Moorhead, was an 8-year-old boy in 1976, when he spotted a mysterious 6- to 7-foot black figure walk into the woods, he has dedicated much of his life to searching for Bigfoot, the Fargo Forum reports.

The Syfy channel featured the Hairy Man investigation in its premiere episode of "Haunted Highways" last month.
