Verizon expands its high-speed data service in Minnesota

Verizon Wireless is expanding its 4G LTE coverage in parts of north-central Minnesota -- including Alexandria, Brainerd, Fergus Falls and St. Cloud, the Pioneer Press reports. Once the service expansion is complete later this month, the wireless provider will offer continuous coverage of its high-speed mobile-data service along I-94 in Minnesota.

AT&T is also upgrading its LTE network in the Twin Cities metro, the Business Journal reports.
