Vice President Mike Pence to visit Minneapolis this week

Vice President of the United States Mike Pence will be in Minneapolis this week.

Pence is the special guest at America First Policies event being held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Wednesday.

According to the event listing, Pence is expected to speak about "How the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will impact you, your state and our nation."

The event starts at 9:30 a.m., with ticket information here.

He will also take part in an event in Minneapolis for the Great America Committee called “Protect the House.”

He'll travel to Minneapolis from North Dakota, where he'll be speaking at another America First Priorities event in Fargo.

Both Pence and President Donald Trump are expected to make their presences felt in Minnesota this year.

Trump told Republican party members that intends to visit Minnesota ahead of November, when the state hosts two Senate races in the upcoming mid-terms, along with a series of tightly-contested House races.
