Video: Motorist drives down road with pedestrian on hood

It happened in St. Paul last night.

A rather bizarre scene unfolded in downtown St. Paul on Tuesday night, when video captured a car traveling down a street with a pedestrian on the hood.

The footage taken by Ibrahim Nur shows the car driving slowly westbound on 6th Street with a man on the hood, with Nur providing play-by-play to someone he's talking to on a cellphone.

St. Paul police told GoMN it was called to the scene of the incident, which happened between 10-10:30 p.m.

The victim, Alexander Seide of Mendota Heights, told police he was walking in a crosswalk at 6th and Market Avenue when a vehicle "bumped" him, causing him to fall on the hood.

The driver then told him to get off the hood, before starting to drive down 6th Street.

The car then stopped around Washington Street, at which point Seide got off the hood and the driver left the scene.

Police know who the driver is, but they have not yet been located.

Seide was uninjured in the incident.
