The department says there are "a lot of safe-driving lessons to be learned" from the footage, which shows cars and trucks fail to stop in time at a crash scene in poor visibility, and end up piling into queuing vehicles.
Officials say there were at least a dozen cars, three semis and a farm truck involved in the crash – but nobody was injured.
