Video shows deadly shootout between MN fugitive and bounty hunters at Texas dealership

The fugitive and both bounty hunters died.

A fugitive from Minnesota and two bounty hunters who were tracking him were killed in a shootout at a car dealership in Texas.

The two bounty hunters tracked fugitive Ramon Hutchinson of St. Paul to a Nissan dealership in Greenville, Texas on Tuesday, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Video released Wednesday (watch it below – note: it is graphic) shows two armed men approaching a third man in an office at the dealership. Seconds later, gunshots ring out.

The Texas-based bounty hunters – identified as 54-year-old Fidel Garcia Jr. and 33-year-old Gabriel Bernal – had been waiting at the dealership for Hutchinson for hours, according to The Associated Press. And when he arrived, they cornered him in the office with their guns drawn.

Hutchinson, who also had drawn his gun, ended up dropping it and the men got into a scuffle, the Dallas Morning News says. Hutchinson grabbed his gun and started firing. The bounty hunters fired back.

In 6 seconds, 20 shots were fired. All three men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Bounty hunters in Minnesota had been looking for 49-year-old Hutchinson since March, after he didn't show up for court in Hennepin County, Minnesota-based bounty hunter Stew Peters told KSTP. Hutchinson had been charged with possessing cocaine, assaulting a peace officer, and DWI, the publication notes.

It's not clear what brought Hutchinson to Texas.
