A new generation of hip-hoppers like the Sprite in you.

Your summer just got a lot cooler thanks to the forthcoming third installment of Sprite's hip-hop cans. Our #BFGS performer Vince Staples leads the soda-pop's 2017 class with his signature "Norf Norf" line "You thirsty, please grab a Sprite," immortalized in recyclable green aluminum all summer.

While his is the only line to mention Sprite by name, the Cold Lyrics Series features "cold"-themed lyrics from Lil Yachty (which also shouts out Minnesota), D.R.A.M., Vic Mensa, and XXL 2017 Freshmen Kamaiyah and Kap G.

The Cold Lyrics Series replaces Sprite's annual Obey Your Verse campaign which featured hip-hop legends and established hitmakers like Biggie, 2Pac, Nas, Drake, Missy Elliott, and J.Cole.

Sprite's relationship with hip-hop goes back over 30 years and includes commercials with Kurtis Blow, Heavy D, Pete Rock & CL Smooth and Kool Keith.
