The Monticello Times reports that two buses of search volunteers left the Monticello Community Center Friday morning to take part in a ground search in Wright County.

Tyler Berg, a native of Austin, Minnesota who has most recently lived in St. Cloud, where he was studying computer science. Berg was last seen at his apartment in St. Cloud nearly a week ago.

KARE reports that Berg's black Mercury Cougar was found abandoned near the Otter Creek Park in Monticello. The station said that few articles of clothing, believed to be Berg's, were found on the golf course at the Monticello Country Club.

KSTP's story said Wright County law enforcement was seeking volunteers to help in the ground search, which involves no ATV’s, horses or other motorized vehicles at this time. The volunteer group United Legacy is involved in the efforts.
