Walker Art Center's online cat video collection hits the road

The Walker Art Center's collection of Internet cat videos, which generated some nationwide buzz this summer, is now touring the country. The Pioneer Press reports the Minneapolis-based museum screened its hour and a half collection of cat videos for students at the University of Massachusetts Boston last month. On Nov. 15, the newspaper says it will be shown at the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego.

The Walker Art Center's collection of Internet cat videos, which generated some nationwide buzz this summer, is now touring the country. You may recall, back in August 10,000 cat lovers gathered for the inaugural outdoor film festival in Minneapolis.

The Pioneer Press reports the Walker screened its hour and a half collection of cat videos for students at the University of Massachusetts Boston last month. On Nov. 15, the newspaper says it will be shown at the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego.

There's no word on whether there will be another Internet Cat Video Festival next summer.

The people's choice award, the Golden Kitty, was presented to William Brandon, creator of Henri 2, Paw de Deux, MPR reports. Check it out:
