Looking for somewhere to eat tonight? Well if you're in Minneapolis you could go to one of the "top 10" restaurants in the country for ramen.
The Huffington Post has this week published a list of what it thinks are the 10 best places in the United States to get the traditional Japaense dish, and included is moto-i Ramen and Sake House, in Lyn-Lake.
The eatery, near the corner of Lyndale and Lake, was praised for its "signature brothless ramen," the abura ramen, which sees the broth replaced by egg yolk and a dash of chili oil added.
It adds that there are plenty of traditional ramen dishes for "purists," as well as small plates and fried rice.
The restaurant is no stranger to praise. The restaurant also made it onto Thrillist's nation's best ramen locations list last year, with the abura ramen once again highlighted as the top dish.
In a piece entitled "For heaven's sake, visit moto-i" CityPages highlighted the restaurant's selection of brewed-on-site sake, for which it's famous, as being the "star of the show," while the Star Tribune focused on the small plates in this review from 2009.
