Want to open for Bon Jovi at the Xcel Energy Center?

You could open for Bon Jovi at the Xcel.

Bon Jovi is looking for a new opening act.

The rock band is holding a contest to find musicians to open for them during each show on their upcoming This House Is Not For Sale Tour. The tour is making a stop at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on March 27.

So if you think you or your band have the "sound, style and substance" to open up for Bon Jovi, all you have to do is upload a video of you performing original music to this website, or the Bon Jovi and Live Nation Facebook pages, a news release says.

"Every great band starts small and builds their rep one show at a time. That's the opportunity we were given and now we want to pay it forward. If you're ready for the arena stage, submit your audition tapes and join us in playing for the best audiences in rock music," Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement.

Live Nation will pick 10 finalists, and then Bon Jovi management will pick the winner – one for each tour stop.

If you're hoping to open for Bon Jovi at the X, your video has to be submitted by Feb. 27. The winner for that tour stop will be announced around March 7, according to the contest rules.

As of Wednesday afternoon, one person had submitted a performance video for the St. Paul show. You can see all the submissions here.
