Officials were searching for a wanted man, and when they found him he was sitting at a library catching up on the news.

And the news he was reading was, well, all about him.

Authorities had asked the public on Wednesday for help finding Steven Holm after they went to arrest him, but couldn't find him, the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office said in a news release

The 34-year-old man – who had multiple warrants for his arrest for charges including burglary and fifth-degree drug possession – had taken off on a dirt bike.

Officials finally tracked him down on Thursday just after 4 p.m. They received a tip that he was at the Spring Valley Public Library, the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office said

"Ironically" he was sitting at a computer reading an article on KTTC's website about himself from when he was on the run from law enforcement. The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office told GoMN that Holm didn't say why he was reading about himself, but suspect he was looking for information so he could avoid arrest.

Holm was arrested without incident and brought to the Mower County Jail, where he's being held in connection to the warrants.

The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office told GoMN Holm has been formally charged, but has yet to make his first court appearance.
