Continuing with their pledge to release a video for every song on Fishing Blues, Atmosphere unveiled their latest clip for "Seismic Waves" today. With sleek but jarring imagery, it adds a vivid, visceral layer to the already provocative track.
Directed by Kron, who has collaborated with Atmosphere before on Fishing Blues'"Ringo" and most recently directed Prof's "Standout," the clip features Slug as a prisoner playing a key role in a prison riot. The ominous beat combined with Slug's stealthy rapping adds a palpable tension to the video's opening, and then beat, matched with the slow motion shots of the action, adds something of a clarity to the chaos.
Tomorrow Atmosphere sets off with Brother Ali and deM atlaS for the second leg of the “Freshwater Fly Fishermen Tour" in Grand Rapids. They return to Minneapolis on November 29th for a sold out show at First Avenue.
