Big Sean's one of those artists whose longevity is someone taken for granted, so it was kind of surprising that his Saturday Night Live performance this past week was his debut. Hadn't he done this before?
Introduced by Aziz Ansari (also his SNL debut) Sean first performed "Bounce Back." It's a strong choice for introducing him to an SNL audience as Sean got to show off his full arsenal of flows sans hype man, and let his talent stand on its own.
He followed it up with a second performance where he was joined by The-Dream for the ultimate duet of two artists whose styles influenced entire Drake albums. They debuted "Sunday Morning Jetpack," a smooth chaser for "Bounce Back."
Big Sean's new album I Decided drops February 3.
