Watch: Brother Ali shines in 'Own Light (What Hearts Are For)'

The newest visuals from Brother Ali's next album has arrived.

Brother Ali's All The Beauty In This Whole Life, his first album in five years, arrives in May.

His first official video for the project, "Own Light (What Hearts Are For)," is especially vivid in all of the best ways.

Directed by Dave Wilson, the clip juxtaposes the spellbinding wonder in the world with glimpses of some of society's struggles.

Along with Ali looking cool as ever, the contrast of the breathtaking exotic locations with touching moments of kindness really drive home the powerful light that life contains.

Also touching was the dedication at the end to the recently deceased Seattle hip-hop icon Jonathan Moore. Brother Ali's All The Beauty In This Whole Life drops May 5.
