The Glensheen Mansion is picturesque normally. So it's not surprising that when viewed from above with a drone, the property is still stunning.

The mansion's Facebook page shared two drone videos Thursday morning. This one from the front of the property:

The first video has gotten thousands of shares, with hundreds of comments.

The 39-room home, built by the influential Congdon family and completed in 1908, has an infamous history that includes the grisly 1977 murders of heiress Elisabeth Congdon and her night nurse.

It opened to the public 37 years ago as a museum and the mansion’s owner, the University of Minnesota Duluth, has committed itself to telling the legacy of the Congdon family.
