According to Betsy Helfand of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the fight stated between two players but then escalated into multiple players getting involved.

UNLV had to play with just six players after four were ejected.

The Lady Rebels were still able to pull off the win despite having just one player on its bench, winning 54-53.
