Iggy's really putting her all into her live performances, but it remains to be seen if critics will "Switch."
Last night was a special Memorial Day as Australian rap artist Iggy Azalea hit The Tonight Show stage for an Anitta-assisted performance of her new single, "Switch."
While she didn't appear to be backed by the Roots, which is usually one of the cool perks of rocking the mic so close to Jimmy Fallon, Iggy seems to have taken her lifetime of harsh criticism of her live show to heart and pulled out all the bells and whistles for this one.
Boasting much more choreography than one would expect from a mainstream rap artist, Iggy stayed in-step while really attempting to connect her flow with conviction. "Switch" largely lands, and while she didn't continue her feud with Papa John's it was still by far her strongest televised performance to date.
Iggy's new album Digital Distortion drops on June 30. It's set to feature YG, Lil Uzi Vert, and Jeremih.
