Closer Brandon Kintzler blew a two-run lead in the top of the ninth inning , spoiling Phil Hughes' chance at his fifth win of the season.

Eddie Rosario extended his career-best hitting streak to 15 games on Friday collecting two hits.

Game two of the series is set for Saturday with first pitch at 1:10 p.m.
