Watch: Massive alligator/possible dinosaur ambles through nature reserve

Here's another reason not to visit Florida.

There's nothing like a gargantuan, lethal reptile to get people talking, and the internet's abuzz about this video footage taken from a nature reserve in Florida.

The video was first uploaded to a Polk Nature Discovery Center Facebook group by Kim Joiner, who took the video of this giant 'gator as it crossed her path in Florida on Sunday.

This guy ain't a puppy. A woman took this video from a nature center in Lakeland. I won't be visiting said nature center. (h/t @10NewsWTSP)

The post by Joiner, who said it's the biggest alligator she's ever seen, has been shared more than 20,000 times on the social media site.

Florida is the only place in the world where both alligators and crocodiles co-exist, with the largest 'gator ever recorded in the state measuring just over 14 feet in length, according the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
