Watch: This Mother's Day ad crushes stereotypes about women

When you think of your mom, what comes to mind?

Maybe a special recipe she makes just for you, the way she can get ANY stain out of a white t-shirt, or how she constantly reminded you growing up that some day you'd have kids that behave just like you? (It's annoying how often she's right.)

Those are all great things, but moms are way more than sandwich makers and boo-boo kissers. And with Mother's Day approaching, it's time to give it up for the strong, hardworking, kickass women who do so much.

American workwear brand Carhartt is doing just that with a new ad chock-full of girl power. It's a tribute to women like Rosie the Riveter, who crushed stereotypes of what society thinks a woman should be, as well as modern-day moms, who are also mechanics, farmers, teachers, and more.

"This video is an ode to strong women and mothers everywhere. All Hail the Carhartt Woman. All Hail Mom," Brian Bennett, vice president of brand creative at Carhartt said in a news release.
