In honor of newly released "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," BringMeTheNews decided to let some Muggles give the Sorting Hat's job a try by sorting celebrities into the Hogwarts houses.

The book – which is really a script of the stage play – was released July 31. Scholastic told the New York Times 2 million hardcover copies were sold in the first 48 hours of its release.

The publisher must have expected as much because 4.5 million copies were printed for the book's debut.

Despite the rush to snatch a copy off the shelves, not everyone's loving it – many because they didn't listen to J.K. Rowling when she said it wasn't going to be a novel.

If you bought the book and haven't read it yet, don't worry. Plenty of people loved it, too.
