NBC Sports aired a 30-minute documentary about Warroad's ridiculously rich hockey history Sunday night called The Road Through Warroad: Hockeytown USA.
And if you happened to miss the mini doc, NBC Sports has posted it online.
Here's the link, and it's embedded below.
The town, if you don't know, is right up near the northern border of Minnesota. Since 1901, its population has never reached the 2,000 mark, NBC Sports explains. Yet five NHL players, seven Olympians, and more than 80 Division I hockey players have come from there.
The whole documentary is sponsored by Enterprise. If you want the inside-baseball view of why the heck a rental car company paid to put together a show about a town that's 6 miles from the Canadian border, check out this AdWeek piece.
