Hey Siri, is this offsides?

During the Wild-Blackhawks game at Xcel Energy Center Wednesday, there was a controversial goal scored by Zach Parise.

Chicago head coach Joel Quenneville challenged that Minnesota was offsides when entering the zone Parise scored the goal.

When a play's under review, the NHL replay center in Toronto makes the final call. For whatever reason, the referee was using an iPhone instead of the landline provided at the arena.

The review caused quite the firestorm on Twitter.

After review, the goal was awarded to Minnesota due to "inconclusive evidence." Still, why was this official using an iPhone and why the heck did the review take so long?

Hopefully we'll find out soon enough. The Wild wound up falling to the Blackhawks 4-3 in overtime.
