The FCC Won't let him be, but Stephen Colbert is still ready to rock the mic with Gorillaz.

It's a rare condition in this day and age to have a new Gorillaz album. When they drop, the promotional red carpet goes all out to the far reaches of the universe. That includes network television as the fabulous fictional group stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last week to perform a full set of numbers from their new album Humanz.

But while De La Soul weren't able to make it out to the Ed Sullivan Theater, host Stephen Colbert was able to fill-in their shoes (and signature furry coat) for "Feel Good Inc." Being able to go bar-for-bar not only showed his mic skills and breath control, but the Colbert touches ("it's my may-o-naisse attack") reminded us why he's one of the funniest people alive.
