It's a little out of the norm for us to have two video game stories in the same day, but Thursday morning brought two trailers people are going to talk about. A lot.
First it was the new Nintendo Switch console.
Then there's this one: A trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, from Rockstar Games. It's been viewed more than 300,000 times on YouTube in the 17 minutes after it went up at 10 a.m. CST.
This is the sequel to the beloved 2010 Xbox 360/PS3 title Red Dead Redemption, which has an overall Metacritic score of 95/100. That's one of the top scores of all time for both consoles.
Rumors about a possible sequel have swirled in recent years, with fans of the first (well, actually, technically second in the series) clamoring for another.
This trailer doesn't show much in terms of action. But it does show off some pretty stunning landscapes.
Here's the official site, if you want more info. The game is slated for a fall 2017 release on PS4 and Xbox One.
