Watch this ghostly ice-covered ship arrive in Duluth

This is how cold it is in northern Minnesota.

In case you hadn't noticed, it's cold right now – which is why this freighter arrived at the Port of Duluth on Tuesday covered in ice.

The below footage, captured on the Duluth Harbor Cam, shows the Great Lakes Trader/Joyce L. VanEnkevort make its way along the port canal and beneath the famous lift bridge.

The ship docked in the port at around 10:30 a.m., when it started taking on iron ore pellets.

Its arrival was made all the more atmospheric by the fact Lake Superior was experiencing "steam smoke" rising from the water on Tuesday morning.

We're not saying this made it look like a ghost ship or anything, but ... no, that is what we're saying actually. It looks like a ghost ship.
